On November 22–23, 2017, the 5th International Forum on Socialism was held in Vientiane, Laos.

On May 4, 2018, the International Symposium Commemorating the 200th Anniversary of the Birth of Karl Marx and the 6th International Forum on Socialism were held in Hanoi, Vietnam. ^[1]

December 22, 2021: Beijing venue of the 8th International Forum on Socialism. ^[2]

September 12, 2022: Beijing venue of the 9th International Forum on Socialism (1). ^[3]

September 12, 2022: Beijing venue of the 9th International Forum on Socialism (2).

↩ [1] 纪念马克思诞辰200周年 (Jìniàn Mǎkèsī dànchén 200 zhōunián): This 2018 bicentennial was a major ideological milestone for the CPC, used to reaffirm the "Sinicization" of Marxism and the transition into the New Era. The event in Hanoi reflects the close ideological coordination between the CCP and the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV).
