Deng Chundong Attends and Delivers a Speech at the Fourth Academic Forum on the Sinicization of Marxism

On August 16, 2013, the Department of Sinicization of Marxism Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) Institute of Marxism Studies and the School of Marxism of Jilin University held the "Fourth Academic Forum on the Sinicization of Marxism" at Jilin University, centered on the theme "Mao Zedong and the Sinicization of Marxism."

Comrade Deng Chundong, Director and Party Committee Secretary of the CASS Institute of Marxism Studies, attended the forum and delivered a speech. In his remarks, Comrade Deng Chundong pointed out that Mao Zedong was the pioneer and founder of the Sinicization of Marxism, having made outstanding historical contributions to advancing the Sinicization of Marxism and opening the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics ^[1]. He noted that taking "Mao Zedong and the Sinicization of Marxism" as the forum's theme possesses profound practical and theoretical significance.
