On the morning of April 9, the Institute held its 266th Marxist Academic Seminar on the theme of "A Close Reading of Volume 44 of the Collected Works of Marx and Engels." Yu Bin of the Department of Basic Principles presided, and Wang Xiaohong and Chen Renjiang delivered the keynote speeches.
On the morning of April 10, the Institute held its 267th Marxist Academic Seminar on the theme of "New Trends in International Political Thought." Zheng Yiming of the Department of Foreign Marxism presided, and Feng Yanli delivered the report.
On the morning of April 12, the Institute held its 268th Marxist Academic Seminar, themed as a "Symposium on 'Advancing the Global Reach of the Theory of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics' and a Seminar on the Publication of What is Socialism with Chinese Characteristics? (Chinese-English edition)." Jin Minqing of the Department of Sinicization presided; Cheng Enfu [2], Zhao Zhikui, and others delivered keynote speeches.

On the afternoon of April 18, the Institute held its 270th Marxist Academic Seminar on the theme of "Reflections on the Construction of Learning-oriented Party Organizations." Jin Minqing of the Department of Sinicization presided, and Dai Lixing delivered the report.
On the morning of April 23, the Institute held its 271st Marxist Academic Seminar on the theme of "The Historical Development and Theoretical Innovation of Socialism." Luo Wendong of the Department of Socialist Development presided, and Yang Bin and Chen Jianbo delivered reports.
On the morning of May 3, the Institute held its 271st [sic] Marxist Academic Seminar on the theme of "The Communist Manifesto and Socialism with Chinese Characteristics—An Exchange Meeting of the Department of the International Communist Movement on Studying the Documents of the 18th National Congress [3]." Liu Haixia of the Department of the International Communist Movement presided; Zhang Fujun, Pan Xihua, Chen Shuoying, and Yu Hui delivered speeches.
On the morning of May 7, the Institute held its 272nd Marxist Academic Seminar on the theme of "A Close Reading of Volume 45 of the Collected Works of Marx and Engels." Yu Bin of the Department of Basic Principles presided, and Li Chunhua and Zhu Yan delivered the keynote speeches.

On the morning of May 29, the Institute held its 275th Marxist Academic Seminar on the themes of "A Dialectical Interpretation of the Chinese Path" and "The Influence of Socialist States in the Evolution and Formation of Capitalist Economic Crises."
