The meeting was presided over by Research Fellow Jin Minqing, head of the Department of Sinicization of Marxism at the Institute of Marxism Studies, and He Xinyuan, director of the Department of the Theory of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics.
Participants unanimously agreed that Marxism belongs to all of humanity, and the cause of Marxism is not merely the undertaking of a single country, but the undertaking of all humanity. Sinicized Marxism is both Chinese and global. As the highest temple of social science research, a steadfast fortress for Marxism, and a think tank and brain trust for the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, CASS should rightly make its due contribution to the "going out" of the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
