On July 25, the Academy of Marxism conveyed and studied the spirit of the 2019 Summer Seminar of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences

On July 25, the Institute of Marxism Studies (CASS) convened a meeting of all staff members to convey, study, and implement the spirit of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) 2019 Summer Thematic Seminar. Fan Jianxin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Institute, presided over the meeting and conveyed the seminar’s spirit. Vice Presidents Xin Xiangyang and Jia Chaoning attended the meeting, which was joined by all cadres and staff of the Institute.

Comrade Fan Jianxin conveyed the spirit of President Xie Fuzhan’s mobilization speech, titled "Remain True to Our Original Aspiration and Founding Mission, and Struggle to Accelerate the Construction of the 'Three Major Systems' ^[1]." He also conveyed the spirit of the speech by Vice President and Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group ^[2] Wang Jingqing, titled "Focus on Fundamental Tasks, Firmly Grasp the Main Line, and Solidly Advance Our Academy’s 'Staying True to Our Original Aspiration and Founding Mission' ^[3] Thematic Education." Additionally, he conveyed the explanation provided by Vice President and Member of the Leading Party Members’ Group Cai Fang regarding the investigative and analytical report on the construction of academic disciplines and human resources.

After conveying the spirit of the thematic seminar, Party Secretary Fan Jianxin delivered a special Party lecture on thematic education to all Party members, cadres, and staff. Wu Shangmin, head of the Fourth Guidance Group for Thematic Education of CASS, and member Shi Lei attended the session.
