Leaders of the Academy of Marxism Visit and Extend Greetings to Retired Comrades, Single Employees, and Employees in Need

To further implement the spirit ^[1] of the relevant notices from the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, and to ensure that the broad masses of Party members and cadres deeply feel the cordial care of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, the leadership of the Institute of Marxism Studies (IMS) conducted a series of outreach visits. On the eve of the Spring Festival ^[2], Xin Xiangyang, Secretary of the IMS Party Committee, along with Vice Presidents Gong Yun and Lin Jianhua, led separate teams to visit and extend greetings to over twenty retired veteran comrades, single employees, and employees facing financial hardships.

During these visits, the Institute leadership sat knee-to-knee ^[3] with veteran experts and scholars, engaging in cordial conversations. They inquired in detail about the veterans' daily lives and health conditions, provided briefings on the primary work undertaken by the IMS in 2020 and the work arrangements for 2021, and listened earnestly to their opinions and suggestions regarding the Institute. The leadership noted that veteran experts and scholars are precious assets of the Institute, having contributed significantly to the construction and development of the IMS over many years. They expressed their hope that the veterans would continue to show concern for and support the work of the Institute. On behalf of the Institute’s Party Committee and the entire staff, the leadership extended festive greetings and New Year blessings to them.
