Comrade Yu Junxiao Appointed as Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and Vice President of the Academy of Marxism | Marxism Research Network

On the morning of March 31, the Institute of Marxism Studies ^[1] convened a meeting of all personnel. Jiang Hui—a member of the Leading Party Members’ Group ^[2] of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Director of the Institute of Contemporary China, and concurrently Director of the Institute of Marxism Studies—announced the decision of the CASS Leading Party Members’ Group regarding personnel appointments and removals: Comrade Yu Junxiao has been appointed Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee ^[3] and Deputy Director of the Institute of Marxism Studies. Cui Jianmin, Deputy Director of the Bureau of Personnel and Education of CASS (holding the rank of Director-General and presiding over the Bureau's work), and the entire cadre ^[4] and staff of the Institute of Marxism Studies attended the meeting.
