Party Branch of the Principles Research Department of the Academy of Marxism, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Achieves Excellent Results in the Third Party Building Innovation Achievement Exhibition and Exchange Activity
From October 26 to 27, the Third Exhibition and Exchange Activity for Party Building Innovation Achievements was held in Shenzhen. Approximately 200 Party building professionals from central and state organs, provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), and sub-provincial cities participated in the event to showcase and exchange the latest innovative achievements in organ Party building. The exhibition and exchange activity was co-hosted by the Flag magazine of the Work Committee of the Central and State Organs and the Work Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal Organs. It aimed to deeply study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the Central and State Organs Party Building Work Conference, and further promote organ Party building to advance with the times, uphold the fundamentals and break new ground, and achieve high-quality development. The activity was divided into three categories: "Centering on the Core Task," "Building the Workforce," and "Serving the Masses." It drew wide participation from various departments of central and state organs and Party building colleagues from organs across the country. Since its launch in May this year, the activity has focused on "innovation in Party building," collecting a total of 528 outstanding cases. Through independent evaluation by 15 experts, "Top Ten and Best Hundred" cases were selected, with the "Top Ten" cases being presented on-site as exemplary models for exchange and learning.
On the 26th, after intense competition involving preliminary evaluation, on-site presentation, and defense sessions, the activity selected gold (6), silver (9), and bronze (15) awards for the "Top Ten Cases" across the three categories of "Centering on the Core Task," "Building the Workforce," and "Serving the Masses." On the 27th, the activity hosted a thematic forum. Responsible comrades from the Party committees of two central and state organ departments and twelve provincial and municipal organ work committees delivered keynote speeches. They combined theoretical reflection with practical exploration, focusing on how to promote innovation in concepts and thinking, methods and means, and grassroots work, as well as how to resolve new and old challenges facing organ Party building.
The Party Branch of the Department of Foundational Theory Research at the Institute of Marxism Studies [1] of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) followed the activity’s requirements by closely integrating the demonstration and creation activities for Party building work. They summarized the new ideas and measures developed over years of Party building work to produce a case characterized by the specific features of Marxist theoretical researchers. Under the theme of "Grasping 'One Fundamental, Two Integrations, and Three Permeations' to Create a Strong 'Martial Fortress of Marxist Theory,'" the branch conducted an on-site presentation in the "Centering on the Core Task" category and ultimately won the Bronze Award for the "Top Ten Cases."
