On July 6, Comrade Xin Xiangyang, Party Committee Secretary of the Academy of Marxism, Delivered a Special Party Lecture to All Members
On the morning of July 6, 2022, the Institute of Marxism Studies (CASS) convened a general assembly of Party members. Comrade Xin Xiangyang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Institute, delivered a special Party lecture [1] to all members. Vice Presidents Comrade Gong Yun and Comrade Lin Jianhua attended the meeting, which was joined by the entire membership of the Institute of Marxism Studies.

Secretary Xin Xiangyang delivered the thematic Party lecture focused on studying the ten items of vital historical experience summarized in the Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the Major Achievements and Historical Experience of the Party over the Past Century through four distinct dimensions. First, from the dimension of the continuity between the three historical resolutions [2], to deeply understand the ten items of vital historical experience within the progression of the Party’s hundred-year history. Second, from the dimension of the methodology of dialectical materialism and historical materialism, to grasp the systematic and holistic nature of these ten items of historical experience. Third, by integrating General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on Party history, to view the historical experience of the Party’s centennial struggle from the dimension of the "big picture view of history" [3]. Fourth, from the dimension of exploring and summarizing the "Three Laws"—the laws of governance by a communist party, the laws of socialist construction, and the laws of the development of human society—to grasp the rich connotations of the ten items of historical experience. Comrade Xin Xiangyang requested that all Party members of the Institute of Marxism Studies integrate these studies with their own scientific research, continue to deeply study and implement the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, and, in conjunction with the study of the fourth volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China, deeply publicize and interpret the historical experience of the Party’s centennial struggle to welcome the successful opening of the 20th National Congress of the CPC with outstanding achievements.
