Comrade Xin Xiangyang Appointed President of the Academy of Marxism

On the morning of May 10, the Institute of Marxism Studies ^[1] convened a meeting of all personnel. Comrade Zhen Zhanmin, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) ^[2] and member of its leading Party members' group, announced the cadre appointment decision on behalf of the CASS leading Party members' group: Comrade Xin Xiangyang is appointed Director of the Institute of Marxism Studies. Comrade Zhao Rui, Director of the Bureau of Personnel and Education of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, attended the meeting; Comrade Gong Yun, Deputy Director of the Institute of Marxism Studies, presided over the session.
