The "Gazetteer of China's Poverty Alleviation" is expected to be fully published by the first half of 2027.

Today (March 19), a meeting to advance the compilation work of the Chronicles of Chinese Poverty Alleviation (Zhongguo fupin zhi) was held in Beijing.

The Chronicles of Chinese Poverty Alleviation has been incorporated into the national development plan for philosophy and social sciences for the 14th Five-Year Plan ^[1] period. It provides a comprehensive, systematic, and authentic record of the historical process of poverty alleviation in New China.

According to reports, the project was deployed in 2020 and has currently achieved phased results. Among the 56 volumes in the "Chronicles of Chinese Poverty Alleviation Series," the compilation of draft manuscripts for 49 volumes has been basically completed. It is anticipated that the full publication will be finished in the first half of 2027.
