Yan Xiaofeng is the Dean of the School of Marxism at Tianjin University, a professor, and a doctoral supervisor. He serves as a member of the Advisory Committee of the Project to Study and Build Marxist Theory ^[1] and was a member of the Central Lecturing Group for the Party History Learning and Education campaign ^[2]. He holds the positions of Vice President of the Chinese Society of Historical Materialism and President of its Association for the Study of Socialist Modernization. Additionally, he is a specially invited researcher of the National National Party Building Research Association, an expert on the Subject Planning and Review Group of the National Social Science Fund of China, and a review expert for the National Publication Foundation. He serves as the chief expert for major projects under the Project to Study and Build Marxist Theory and major projects of the National Social Science Fund. He is also a specially invited researcher at the Ministry of Education’s Research Center for Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Professor Yan is a recipient of the Special Government Allowance of the State Council and the Award for Outstanding Military Professional and Technical Talents, and he has been awarded a Second-Class Merit. He has been selected for the "Library of Theoretical Study: Selected Works of Theorists" series published by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee.
