Call for Papers: National Forum for Young Marxist Scholars (2014)
In order to strengthen ties and exchanges among young Marxist theoretical workers nationwide and to promote the prosperity and development of contemporary Chinese Marxist research, the National Forum for Young Marxist Scholars (2014) is scheduled to be held in late June 2014 in Guangzhou, Guangdong. The forum is jointly organized by the Institute of Marxism Studies and the Academic Division of Marxist Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), South China Normal University, and Guangzhou University. The theme of the forum is "Historical Materialism and the Chinese Path." We are now soliciting papers from young scholars across the country engaged in the study of Marxist theory.
The scope of topics for submission is as follows:
- The Chinese Path and the Innovation of Historical Materialism;
- The Inevitability and Innovativeness of the Chinese Path;
- The Connotations and Essence of the Chinese Path;
- The Chinese Path and the Chinese Dream [1];
- A Global Perspective on the Chinese Path.
All submitted papers must be original, unpublished works not exceeding 8,000 characters, including an abstract, keywords, and a brief author biography. Submissions should be accompanied by the author's gender, age, professional title, institutional affiliation, address, contact telephone number, email address, and postal code.
