Call for Papers: The 10th National Forum for Young Marxist Scholars
To facilitate the rapid development of young Marxist scholars and to establish a platform for Marxist theoretical research and academic exchange, the Institute of Marxism Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) founded the National Forum for Young Marxist Scholars in 2006. To date, nine sessions of the forum have been successfully held in cooperation with various universities across the country.
To further deepen the research on major theoretical and practical issues of Marxism, comprehensively track and accurately grasp the latest progress and frontier dynamics of Marxist research both domestically and internationally, innovatively develop contemporary Chinese Marxism and 21st-century Marxism, and manifest the missions of the era [1] for socialism with Chinese characteristics, the Institute of Marxism Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Guizhou University will jointly host the 10th National Forum for Young Marxist Scholars. At that time, key domestic publications including Marxist Studies (Marxism Yanjiu), Red Flag Manuscript (Hongqi Wengao) [2], and Guide to Ideological and Theoretical Education (Sixiang Lilun Jiaoyu Daokan), as well as the People's Daily, Guangming Daily, and Chinese Social Sciences Today (Zhongguo Shehui Kexue Bao), will attend in support.

II. Conference Time and Location
- Time: October 20–22, 2017 (Registration on the 20th, Conference on the 21st, Departure on the 22nd)
- Conference and Accommodation Location: Dacheng Jingshe Hotel, Confucius Academy, Guiyang, Guizhou Province (Confucius Academy, Dongjiayan, Huaxi District, Guiyang, Guizhou Province).
III. Conference Papers Papers should be original, unpublished works and are required to closely adhere to the theme and topics. They must maintain correct viewpoints and emphasize ideological, academic, frontier, and practical qualities. The length should be within 8,000 characters, including an abstract (approximately 300 characters), keywords, and an author profile. The author profile should include gender, age, work unit, professional title, position, address, contact phone number, email address, and research direction.
The deadline for paper submissions is September 5, 2017. Hard copies should be sent via EMS to: Yang Jing or Hao Yunme, Institute of Marxism Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, No. 5 Jianguomen Nei Avenue, Beijing (Postal Code: 100732). The envelope must be marked with "National Forum for Young Marxist Scholars (2017)."

We will organize experts to review the papers and will issue official invitation letters (electronic version) to those whose papers are selected by September 30. Formal paper invitation letters will be issued upon registration.
