Notice and Call for Papers for the 7th "International Communist Movement Forum"

In 2019, we mark several significant anniversaries in the history of the international communist movement, including the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the centenary of the May Fourth Movement [1], and the centenary of the founding of the Communist International [2]. In order to comprehensively review the historical process of the 70 years since the founding of New China, discuss the influence of the Communist International and the May Fourth Movement on the international communist movement, profoundly understand the interconnectedness between socialism with Chinese characteristics and world socialism, and deepen the study of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the Institute of Marxism Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) will join with the Guizhou Academy of Social Sciences and Zunyi Normal University to co-host the 7th "International Communist Movement Forum." The theme of this year's forum is "Research on the 70 Years of New China and the International Communist Movement."
