Call for Papers: The 12th International Forum on the Communist Movement and Launch Event for New Books Including "China's Whole-Process People's Democracy" (Vietnamese Edition)

To implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee [1], promote the external dissemination of Chinese Marxist research achievements, strengthen the interaction and exchange between Chinese and foreign Marxist scholars, track new dynamics in the development of the international communist movement, and deepen the understanding of democratic political construction in socialist countries, the Institute of Marxism Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) will co-host the "12th International Communist Movement Forum and New Book Launch for Whole-Process People’s Democracy in China (Vietnamese Edition)" alongside Yunnan University and the CASS Academy of Chinese-path Modernization. This conference will invite scholars from Vietnam, Laos, Italy, and other countries to participate in the discussions.

Participants will be selected based on submitted papers (Entry-by-Paper). We invite experts and scholars to write papers in conjunction with the relevant conference topics. The organizers will arrange for an expert review of the submissions, after which invitation letters will be sent to selected authors. Outstanding papers will be recommended for publication in Marxism Studies (Makesizhuyi yanjiu), World Socialism Studies (Shijie shehuizhuyi yanjiu), or the Report on the Development of the International Communist Movement (2024-2025). Requirements for paper composition: Adhere closely to the theme, maintain correct viewpoints, and emphasize scholarly rigor; the length should be approximately 10,000 characters (Chinese), accompanied by an academic biography, abstract, keywords, and contact information; the format should refer to the requirements of the journal Marxism Studies.
