Editorial Department of the International Review of Thought

International Critical Thought (ISSN: 2159-8282) is a quarterly English-language academic journal supervised by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and co-sponsored by the CASS Academy of Marxism ^[1] and the Institute of Marxism Studies. It is dedicated to the comprehensive study, exchange, and dissemination of Marxism.

Founded in 2011, International Critical Thought aims to promote the global reach of Chinese Marxist scholarship, enhance the worldwide influence of Marxist academia, and develop into a world-class academic journal for Marxist theory.

At present, International Critical Thought enjoys high prestige and a strong academic reputation within the global Marxist scholarly community. The journal is currently indexed in international databases including the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI, a Web of Science edition), Scopus, Index Copernicus International (ICI), ANVUR, UGC-CARE, ABCD, and OCLC. Domestically, it is recognized as a core foreign-language journal in the CASS Comprehensive Evaluation of Chinese Humanities and Social Sciences Periodicals (AMI) ^[2]. The journal is distributed to over 3,000 universities and scientific research institutions worldwide. Its articles have been translated into multiple languages, including Chinese, Russian, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, and Turkish, generating extensive academic impact globally.

The Editorial Department of International Critical Thought is responsible for the solicitation of manuscripts, peer review, translation and proofreading, editing, and publication of the English quarterly. It is committed to establishing International Critical Thought as a premier global academic venue for the discipline of Marxist theory.
