Introduction to the Scientific Research Office | Marxism Research Network

The Research Department is one of the administrative departments of the Institute of Marxism Studies ^[1] at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS). Its primary function is to take responsibility for organizational and management work related to scientific research. Its scope of operations includes: the management of research projects; serving as the administrative office for the Academic Committee of the Institute of Marxism Studies; the management of academic societies and non-entity research centers ^[2]; graduate student affairs; foreign affairs work ^[3]; the management of the research outputs and academic activities of the Institute of Marxism Studies; the organization and implementation of research-related tasks assigned by leadership and superior departments; and other organizational and management work related to scientific research.
