Profile of the Research Department of Contemporary World Socialism
The Contemporary World Socialism Research Office maintains its primary research focus on frontier issues and development trends in contemporary world socialism, with particular emphasis on the study of socialist theory and practice in Vietnam, Cuba, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), and Laos, as well as socialist ideological trends and movements in developing countries. The office currently consists of three researchers, including one Professor [1], one Associate Professor, and one Assistant Professor, with one faculty member serving as a Master’s supervisor. The "International Forum on Socialism," which the office co-organizes, aims to promote exchange and innovation in Marxist theory among socialist countries and possesses a degree of influence within relevant academic circles both at home and abroad.
