Announcement on Information Feedback for Executive Directors and Directors of the China Society of Historical Materialism

In order to further strengthen the management of the association, the Board of Chairpersons of the Chinese Historical Materialism Association ^[1] has decided to conduct an information feedback and registration exercise for all standing directors and directors of the association. The Secretariat of the association has sent emails regarding the completion of the Information Feedback Form to the email addresses registered by standing directors and directors with the association; the majority of standing directors and directors have provided timely feedback. However, due to various reasons—such as initial registration information being insufficiently detailed, low participation in association activities, or changes in personal information—the association has been unable to promptly obtain the latest mailing addresses, contact numbers, and email addresses for some individuals, resulting in poor communication. Currently, a portion of standing directors and directors have yet to provide feedback on their personal information, nor have they contacted the association through other means.

Consequently, the Chinese Historical Materialism Association has decided to publish this announcement on the Chinese Social Sciences Net (CSSN), the Marxism Studies Network, and the "Torch of Thought" (Sixiang Huoju) ^[2] official WeChat public account. All standing directors and directors who have not been in contact with the association in recent years, or who have not yet recently provided feedback on their personal information, are requested to send their feedback to the association’s email address (lwxh2010@163.com) before October 31, 2018. The information provided should include: name, institutional affiliation, telephone number, email address, personal curriculum vitae (including major scientific research achievements over the past five years), and a statement on whether they wish to continue serving as a standing director or director of the association. Those who fail to provide feedback by the deadline will be regarded as having voluntarily resigned from their positions as standing directors or directors of the association.
