Call for Papers: The 6th Forum on "Theory and Practice of Ruling Party Building"
To grandly celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, to deeply study and implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress [1] of the Party, and to advance innovation in the theory and practice of Party building, the Institute of Marxism Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and Zhejiang Gongshang University are jointly organizing the 6th High-Level Forum on the "Theory and Practice of Governing Party Building." We welcome experts and scholars in research fields related to Party building, as well as Party affairs workers from Party and government organs, enterprises, and public institutions, to participate by submitting papers [2].
I. Forum Theme: Revelations from 70 Years of Party Building Experience and Research on Party Building in Higher Education Institutions
- Research on the achievements and experience of Party building over 70 years of governance;
- Research on persisting in and strengthening the Party's comprehensive leadership in the New Era;
- Research on unswervingly advancing the comprehensive and strict governing of the Party;
- Research on the overall layout [3] of Party building;
- Research on constructing a theoretical system of Sinicized Marxist Party building;
- Research on continuously improving the quality of Party building;
- Research on the development of the discipline of Party building in higher education institutions;
- Research on other content related to Party building.

- Conference Schedule: Registration on May 31 (Friday); full day of sessions on June 1 (Saturday); departure on the morning of June 2 (Sunday).
- Registration Location: Hangzhou Subo Garden Hotel (No. 66 Xuezheng Street, Xiasha Economic and Technological Development Zone, Hangzhou).
- Call for Papers Requirements: Participants should determine their own titles centered on the theme; papers must be research articles in fields such as Party history, Party building, or party politics. Perspectives must be correct, highlighting ideological depth, academic rigor, and practical relevance. Length should be approximately 8,000 characters. Those interested in attending should fill out the pre-registration form and send it to djcass@sina.com before March 20. The deadline for formal paper submissions is April 30, 2019. Please send the electronic draft of the formal paper to the above email address; the email subject should be formatted as "Institution + Name." The organizers will arrange for experts to review the submissions and will notify selected participants and issue formal invitation letters by May 10. The format of the paper should be as follows: Title, Author Name, Institution (specified down to the secondary department), Abstract, Keywords, Main Text; citations should be footnotes, and references should be listed at the end. Please include an academic biography (title/position, research direction), contact information, and research grant/funding details at the bottom of the first page.
- Conference Fees: The forum does not charge a registration fee; participants are responsible for their own transportation, accommodation, and other travel expenses.
