Call for Papers: The 27th Annual Academic Conference of the Chinese Society for the History of Foreign Economic Theories
To uphold and develop Marxist economics, and to conduct in-depth research and correctly draw lessons from foreign economic theories, the Chinese Society for the History of Foreign Economic Theories [1] and Anhui University of Technology will jointly host the 27th Annual Academic Conference of the Chinese Society for the History of Foreign Economic Theories. The conference is scheduled to be held in early November 2019 in Ma'anshan City.
This conference will focus on discussing the following topics:
- Utilizing Marxist economics to guide the study of Western economics.
- Research on frontline theories of contemporary Western economic doctrines.
- Research on the development and evolution of foreign economic thought.
- Research on the economic development and economic theoretical innovation of the People's Republic of China over the past 70 years.
- Research on forming a strong domestic market and continuously releasing the potential of internal demand.
- Research on all-round opening-up [2] and the cultivation of new advantages in international economic cooperation and competition.
- Research on theoretical issues concerning the establishment of a modernized economic system.
- Research on the industrial transformation and upgrading of traditional industrial cities in China and abroad.
We are now calling for papers on the above topics from colleagues nationwide. Papers are required to take Marxist economics as their guide, demonstrate academic innovation, and adhere to formal writing standards. After peer review, we will issue formal invitation letters to the authors of selected papers. Outstanding papers will be recommended for publication in important journals such as Marxism Studies (《马克思主义研究》), Economic Perspectives (《经济学动态》), Contemporary Economic Research (《当代经济研究》), and the Shanghai School of Economics (《海派经济学》) (quarterly). Selected papers will be compiled into a collection and published by China Economic Publishing House. The conference will select excellent papers and award the "Excellent Paper Prize of the 27th Annual Academic Conference of the Chinese Society for the History of Foreign Economic Theories."
Submissions must include an abstract of approximately 800 characters.
