Call for Papers: Academic Symposium on "Practical Exploration and Theoretical Innovation in Building a Moderately Prosperous Society in All Respects"
Completing the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects [1] by 2020 and achieving the First Centenary Goal [2] is a solemn promise made by our Party to the people and to history. This completion constitutes a crucial step toward realizing the Chinese Dream [3] of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and it holds profound significance in the developmental history of the Chinese nation.
Standing at the historical confluence of the "Two Centenary Goals" [4], and in order to review and synthesize the practical processes and theoretical achievements of the First Centenary Goal while looking forward to the bright prospects of the Second Centenary Goal, the China Society of Political Economy (中国政治经济学学会) and the School of Marxism at Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (上海对外经贸大学马克思主义学院) intend to co-host an academic symposium titled "Practical Exploration and Theoretical Innovation in Completing the Building of a Moderately Prosperous Society in All Respects" from May 22 to 24, 2020. We cordially invite experts and scholars from the national ideological and theoretical circles to submit papers, to "exchange ideas through literature" [5], and to jointly explore and summarize the theoretical achievements and practical experiences of completing the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects.
I. Conference Theme and Reference Topics The theme of this conference is "Practical Exploration and Theoretical Innovation in Completing the Building of a Moderately Prosperous Society in All Respects." Participants may write papers centered on the following issues or focus on the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects based on their own research expertise. Academic results from multidisciplinary cross-research are particularly welcome.

II. Manuscript Requirements:
- Themes should be prominent and arguments rigorous, demonstrating academic rigor and innovation.
- Citations must be standardized and quotations accurate. Annotations should use footnotes, with numbering restarting on each page.
- Documents should be in WORD format, with the main text in size 5 font, subheadings in size small-4 bold, and 1.5 line spacing.
- The main text of the paper should preferably be between 8,000 and 12,000 characters, preceded by an abstract (approx. 300–500 characters), keywords (3–5), a brief author biography, and detailed contact information (mailing address, mobile phone number, and email).
