Notice of Call for Papers for the 11th Academic Forum on the Sinicization of Marxism
To celebrate the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), to conduct in-depth research into the glorious course of the Sinicization of Marxism, to strengthen academic exchange among researchers of the Sinicization of Marxism and Socialism with Chinese Characteristics nationwide, to solidify the theoretical research ranks of the Sinicization of Marxism, and to promote the disciplinary construction of the Sinicization of Marxism, the Institute of Marxism Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) intends to hold the 11th Academic Forum on the Sinicization of Marxism from May 7th to 9th, 2021, in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province (the specific timing may change according to the national COVID-19 prevention and control situation).
The forum is co-hosted by the Institute of Marxism Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Soochow University. The theme of the forum is "The Sinicization of Marxism at the Centenary Historical Convergence [1]." In conjunction with the Party's centenary, the forum will center on the glorious course of the Sinicization of Marxism and further conduct in-depth research on major contents such as Deng Xiaoping Theory, the Theory of Three Represents [2], the Scientific Outlook on Development [3], and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, providing a comprehensive and profound study of the Sinicization of Marxism at the centenary historical convergence.
The forum is organized by the School of Marxism at Soochow University. We are now soliciting academic papers from across the country and welcome experts, scholars, teachers, and other teaching and research personnel in the fields of the Sinicization of Marxism and Socialism with Chinese Characteristics to attend the conference by submitting their work.
The relevant matters regarding the call for papers are hereby notified as follows:
I. Forum Theme: "The Sinicization of Marxism at the Centenary Historical Convergence."
II. Forum Time: May 7th to 9th, 2021 (the specific timing may change according to the national COVID-19 prevention and control situation).
III. Forum Location: Suzhou (specific conference arrangements will be notified separately via the work QQ group).
IV. Paper Writing and Submission Requirements: Submissions must adhere to the correct political orientation, stick closely to the theme, provide substantial material, offer sufficient reasoning, and lack no academic rigor. They must be results of independent research and have not been previously published. The length should ideally be 8,000 to 10,000 words, accompanied by 3 to 5 keywords and an abstract of no more than 300 words. Citations and historical materials must be accurate and rigorous, with sources clearly indicated (please refer to the format of Marxism Studies [4]); please attach an author profile, email address, contact number, and other information at the end of the text.

V. Submission Deadline: April 15, 2021. After the initial selection by the forum preparatory group, experts will be organized to review (and present awards to) the papers. In late April, authors whose papers have been selected will be invited to join the work QQ group, where formal invitations to the conference will be issued.
