2021 Notification for Master's Degree Admissions Transfers to the School of Marxism, University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences
(I) Requirements for Transfer [1]
- Candidates must meet the basic requirements for transfer student recruitment as stipulated by the Ministry of Education and the University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (UCASS). The candidate’s first-choice exam application must have been for an academic-track master’s degree; the transfer-in major must be the same as or similar to the major of the first-choice application and must fall within the same foundational disciplinary category. The subjects taken by the candidate in the Preliminary Examination [2] must be the same as or similar to those required for the transfer-in major, and those subjects within the National Unified Examination must be identical.
- Requirements for Preliminary Examination scores: A total score of no less than 350, with a score of no less than 65 in Political Theory and no less than 50 in Foreign Language.
(II) Opening Period for the Transfer System April 2, 2021, 13:30 to April 3, 2021, 09:30.
(III) Vacancy Information In 2021, the School of Marxism intends to accept one full-time transfer student for the Scientific Socialism and International Communist Movement major [3], two full-time transfer students for the Ideological and Political Education major [4], and two full-time transfer students for the Party Building major [5]. Please check the "National Master’s Admissions Transfer Service System" for specific information.
(IV) Application Procedures Candidates who intend to transfer and meet the transfer requirements should log in to the China Graduate Admissions Information Network within the specified time to complete the filing. Transfer students who are not admitted through this system will not be recognized during the admission inspection. Specific requirements and instructions for use can be found by logging onto http://yz.chsi.com.cn to browse relevant help files. The School of Marxism will determine the list of candidates for the Transfer Retest [6] based on the information of the received transfer applications and will announce the list on its website. Candidates are requested to check the information in the transfer service system in a timely manner and perform the corresponding operations.
