Call for Papers: The 9th Scientific Atheism Forum

To celebrate the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), review the glorious history of the dissemination and development of Marxist atheist thought in China, and summarize the theoretical and practical experience of the Party's religious work and atheist propaganda and education over the past century—as well as the implementation of the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech at the 2016 National Conference on Religious Work over the past five years—the "Ninth Scientific Atheism Forum," hosted by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) Project for Marxist Theoretical Building and Studies ^[1], the CASS Institute of Marxism Studies, and Nanjing University, is scheduled to be held in Nanjing from June 25 to 27, 2021. This forum is co-organized by the CASS Research Center for Science and Atheism, the Chinese Atheism Society, and the School of Marxism at Nanjing University. The theme of the forum is: "The Centenary of the Communist Party of China and Marxist Atheism."

The forum adheres to the principle of "participation based on submission." We warmly welcome experts and scholars from research institutions, institutions of higher education, Party schools, and cadre academies across the country, as well as comrades from practical work departments ^[2], to actively submit papers and attend the conference. Submitted papers must be original, unpublished works and should include an abstract, keywords, author biography, mailing address, postal code, telephone number, and email address.
