Training Class on General Secretary Xi Jinping's Important Expositions on Party History
Dear Participants:
A century of elegance in its prime [1]; at the historical convergence of the "Two Centenaries" [2], we have ushered in the centenary anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speech at the Ceremony Marking the Centenary of the Founding of the CPC is destined to be recorded in the annals of history with far-reaching influence; it possesses extraordinary historical and epochal significance for the whole Party, the entire Chinese people, and the world at large.
This training course is specifically organized to provide an immediate opportunity to listen to lectures by renowned experts, to accurately and thoroughly grasp [3] these "Great Thoughts," and to gain a multi-dimensional understanding of the Party's century of brilliant achievements and monumental contributions. It aims to facilitate a deep comprehension of the Party’s "Greatness, Glory, and Correctness" [4], as well as the miracles created throughout its hundred-year journey: the miracle of economic and social development, the miracle of long-term social stability, the miracle of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, and the great miracle of the strategic victory in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. By taking the pulse of the developmental path and trajectory for the next century, this course seeks to further deepen the results of Party history study and education, ensuring we "walk well the Long March of the New Era."
The training program relies upon the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS)—the highest palace of research in our country’s philosophy and social sciences, an important think tank and brain trust for the Party Central Committee and the State Council, and a fortress of Marxism. We have invited renowned experts from units such as the CASS Institute of Marxism Studies to present a series of "ideological feasts," authoritative interpretations, and top-tier presentations utilizing the richest and most advantageous resources. Participants will listen firsthand to these lecturers who serve as drafters of major central documents, participants in national decision-making, interpreters of frontier theories, and leaders of ideological innovation, thereby providing better guidance for future work.
