Academic Forum on "Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Party and the Sinicization of Marxism"

The year 2021 marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. The Institute of Philosophy of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), the Department of Sinicization of the CASS Institute of Marxism Studies, and Chongqing University of Technology plan to hold the academic forum "Celebrating the Centenary of the Founding of the Party and the Sinicization of Marxism" from November 26th to 28th, 2021. The forum is hosted by the CASS Institute of Philosophy and the Department of Sinicization of the CASS Institute of Marxism Studies, and organized by the School of Marxism of Chongqing University of Technology and the Chongqing University of Technology Periodical Office. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

  1. Research on the centenary journey, theory, practice, achievements, and the experiences and enlightenment [1] of the Communist Party of China.
  2. Research on the Communist Party of China's century-long practice of its "original aspiration and founding mission."
  3. A centenary retrospective and outlook on the Communist Party of China's ideological and political education.
  4. The fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and the Communist Party of China's ideological and political education.
  5. The centenary journey, experiences, and enlightenment of ideological and political education in higher education institutions.
  6. Research on the spiritual pedigree [2] of the Communist Party of China.
  7. Research on the rich connotations and contemporary value of the Great Founding Spirit of the Party [3].
  8. Research on the people-centered development of whole-process democracy [4].

III. Specific Requirements

  1. The forum will adopt the format of "submitting a paper to attend." Submitted papers should generally be around 8,000 characters (including a brief author biography and contact information) and should be sent to the designated email address before November 10, 2021. The email subject should be formatted as "University Name + Name + Phone Number." This forum does not accept hard-copy manuscripts.
  2. Submitted papers must adhere to the correct political direction and academic orientation, comply with academic norms, and possess high academic value and practical significance.
  3. The forum will organize experts to review the papers and issue invitation letters to the authors of selected papers to attend the forum.
  4. The forum does not charge a conference fee; however, participants are responsible for their own round-trip transportation costs.
