The Party Branch of the Department of Principles at the Academy of Marxism, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Achieved Great Success in the 3rd Party Building Innovation Results Presentation and Exchange Activity
From October 26 to 27, the Third Party-Building Innovation Achievement Exhibition and Exchange Activity was held in Shenzhen. Approximately 200 Party-building workers from central and state organs, provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), and sub-provincial cities participated in the event to showcase and exchange the latest innovative achievements in organ Party building. The exhibition and exchange activity was co-sponsored by the Flag [1] magazine office of the Working Committee of the Central and State Organs and the Working Committee of the Organs Directly Under the Shenzhen Municipal Government. Its aim was to study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era in depth, fully implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the Central and State Organs Party Building Work Conference, and further promote organ Party building to advance with the times, uphold the fundamentals and break new ground, and achieve high-quality development. The activity was divided into three categories: "Centering on the Core Task," "Building the Workforce," and "Serving the Masses," attracting wide participation from various departments of central and state organs and Party building colleagues from across the country. Since its launch in May this year, the activity focused on "Party-building innovation," collecting a total of 528 excellent cases. These were independently reviewed by 15 experts to select the "Ten Best and One Hundred Excellent" cases, among which the "Ten Best Cases" were presented on-site as typical examples for exchange and study.
On the 26th, after intense competition through preliminary evaluation, on-site presentation, and defense sessions, the activity reviewed and selected six Gold awards, nine Silver awards, and 15 Bronze awards for the "Ten Best Cases" across the three categories of "Centering on the Core Task," "Building the Workforce," and "Serving the Masses." On the 27th, the activity hosted a thematic forum. Responsible comrades from the Party committees of two central and state organ departments and 12 provincial and municipal organ working committees delivered keynote speeches, combining theoretical reflection and practical exploration on topics such as how to promote innovation in concepts and ideas, methods and means, and grassroots work, and how to solve new and old problems facing organ Party building.
In accordance with the requirements of the activity and in close integration with the demonstration and creation activities for Party-building work, the Party Branch of the Department of Foundational Principles at the Institute of Marxism Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) summarized the new ideas and measures from its years of Party-building work. They developed a Party-building case study characterized by the specific features of Marxist theoretical researchers. Under the theme of "Grasping 'One Fundamental, Two Integrations, and Three Connections' [2] to Build a Strong 'Marxisit Theoretical Fighting Bastion,'" they conducted an on-site presentation for the "Ten Best Cases" in the "Centering on the Core Task" category and ultimately won the Bronze award for the "Ten Best Cases."
