The "Academic Symposium on the 'Two Establishments' and the Persistence and Development of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era & Launch Event for the Yellow Book on World Socialism (2021-2022)" is scheduled to be held in Beijing on the morning of July 13, 2022, at 9:00 AM. The event is hosted by the World Socialism Research Center, the Institute of Marxism Studies, and the Research Center for Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, all of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS); the Contemporary China Publishing House serves as the co-organizer.

Conference Theme: Academic Symposium on the "Two Establishments" and the Persistence and Development of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era & Launch Event for the Yellow Book on World Socialism (2021-2022).

Introduction to the Yellow Book on World Socialism (2021-2022)

This volume is the 18th in the series titled Yellow Book on World Socialism: Tracking Research Reports on World Socialism—Hearing the New Tide Rise from the Ebb [2], organized by the World Socialism Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

At this historical intersection [3] where the Communist Party of China has celebrated its centenary, reached the goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, and successfully achieved the First Centenary Goal, the World Socialism Research Center has conducted multi-perspective, deep-level, and comprehensive research and discussion. These efforts have focused on "comprehensively studying and profoundly grasping Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era," "integrally and accurately evaluating the hundred-year history of the Communist Party of China and establishing a correct view of Party history," and "new trends in the development of foreign Communist Parties and the Left." The Center has produced many authoritative, cutting-edge, and representative research results, advancing the exploration and practice of world socialist theory.
