The original time for this conference was scheduled for December 10–11. Due to the pandemic, the conference start date has been changed to December 11, and the duration has been adjusted from the original two days to one day. The meeting will be conducted through a combination of online and offline methods.

The conference is jointly hosted by the Institute of Marxism Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and Jiangxi Normal University. It is co-organized by the Department of Research on the Sinicization of Marxism within the Institute of Marxism Studies at CASS and the School of Marxism at Jiangxi Normal University. Support is provided by the editorial departments of Marxism Studies (Makesizhuyi yanjiu), the Guide to Ideological and Theoretical Education (Sixiang lilun jiaoyu daokan), and the Journal of Jiangxi Normal University (Philosophy and Social Sciences Edition).

I. Conference Theme: Ideological and Political Education [1] from the Perspective of the New Leap in the Sinicization of Marxism [2].

II. Conference Time and Location:

  1. Conference Time: December 11, 2022 (Sunday).
  2. Conference Location: A combination of online and offline; offline venues will be set up at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Jiangxi Normal University respectively.

III. Participation Methods:

  1. Participation is based on the submission of papers. Experts and scholars are invited to write papers centered on the conference theme and topics. Paper requirements are as follows: (1) Guided by Marxism, with a distinct theme that reflects academic rigor and innovation; (2) An abstract (approximately 400 words), keywords (3–5), author profile (name, gender, workplace, professional title, and administrative position), and detailed contact information (address, telephone, and email) must be attached before the main text; (3) The main text should refer to the submission style of Marxism Studies; (4) The word count should be approximately 8,000 words, with standardized citations and accurate quotations.
  2. Conference papers should be sent as Word documents to the conference mailbox: mkszyxy0701@163.com. The file should be named "Ideological and Political Annual Meeting + Name + Institution + Paper Title." The submission deadline is November 30, 2022.
  3. The organizing committee will issue formal invitation letters to those whose papers are selected. Following the conference, an anthology titled Collected Essays on Ideological and Political Education Research (Vol. 12) will be formally published, and outstanding papers will be recommended for publication in important journals such as Marxism Studies.
