Comrade Xin Xiangyang Appointed President of the Academy of Marxism

On the morning of May 10, the Institute of Marxism Studies ^[1] (IMS) convened a general assembly of all personnel. Comrade Zhen Zhanmin, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and member of its Leading Party Members Group ^[2], announced the leadership appointment decision on behalf of the CASS Leading Party Members Group: Comrade Xin Xiangyang is appointed Director of the Institute of Marxism Studies. Comrade Zhao Rui, Director of the Bureau of Personnel and Education at CASS, attended the meeting, which was presided over by Comrade Gong Yun, Deputy Director of the IMS.
