Call for Papers: The 10th Forum on the Theory and Practice of Ruling Party Building
To deeply study, publicize, and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party, and to advance the research and interpretation of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on Party building, the Institute of Marxism Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), East China Normal University (ECNU), and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) will jointly host the "10th Forum on the Theory and Practice of Ruling Party Building" in Shanghai from June 16 to 17, 2024. We sincerely invite colleagues from the academic community and Party affairs workers [1] to write papers centered on the forum’s theme and to take the time to attend the seminar.
I. Forum Theme The Original Contributions of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s Important Thoughts on Party Building.

- Deeply understanding and focusing on resolving the unique challenges [2] that a large party must solve;

III. Time and Location (1) Time: Registration on June 15 (Saturday), Conference on June 16 (Sunday), Departure on June 17 (Monday). (2) Location: East China Normal University.

V. Other Matters
- The forum does not charge a conference fee. Participants are responsible for their own round-trip transportation and accommodation expenses. Hard-copy invitation letters should be collected on-site after the conclusion of the meeting on the afternoon of June 17.
- Please send the call for papers and the conference participation receipt to the email djcass@sina.com before June 1, 2024. The conference organizing committee will send official invitations based on the quality of the manuscripts.
- Participation in the forum is based on the submission of a paper. After the meeting, selected papers will be published in a collection or recommended to relevant core journals. The electronic file of the paper should be named "Author Name + University (Unit) + Article Title." Contributors should select their own titles and perspectives centered on the theme, and must adhere to the correct political and academic direction. Papers must be unpublished research results, ideally between 6,000 and 10,000 words. Please use Word software for formatting and include 3–5 keywords and an abstract of no more than 300 words. Citations should use footnotes at the bottom of the page, re-numbered on each page. For specific details, please refer to the publication format of the journal Marxist Studies. Please include a brief author biography, professional title, position, contact phone number, and email address at the end of the text.
