Celebrating the Motherland with Childlike Hearts: A Joyful Children's Day
"Children are the future of the motherland and the hope of the Chinese nation." To joyfully welcome the 75th anniversary of the founding of New China and celebrate the 2024 "June 1st" International Children's Day, as well as to cultivate patriotic sentiments in children from an early age and showcase the brand-new spiritual outlook of children in the New Era, the Labor Union and the Female Staff Committee of the Institute of Marxism Studies (IMS) [1], with the approval of the Institute's Party Committee, organized a themed creative submission activity titled "Childlike Hearts Praise the Motherland, Joyfully Celebrating June 1st" from June 1st to 15th, 2024.
This activity utilized a combination of video presentations and exhibition boards. Through the narration of "red stories" [2], the recitation of red poetry, the performance of red musical compositions, and red dances, the "Ma Xiaohua" [3] expressed their patriotic sentiments. Meanwhile, through children’s paintings, calligraphy, and photography, the "Ma Xiaohua" recorded their happy lives and beautiful childhoods.

A total of 29 works were received, including 9 video submissions and 20 graphic works. Following the conclusion of the activity, the IMS Labor Union and the Female Staff Committee meticulously produced exhibition boards and activity videos to share the patriotic sentiments and the joy of the "Ma Xiaohua" as they grow up in happiness.

The launch of this activity not only showcased a love for the Party and the motherland from the unique perspective of children but also allowed them to spend a fulfilling, colorful, happy, and unforgettable holiday while carrying forward excellent traditional Chinese culture and continuing the "red bloodline" [4].
