Call for Papers: The 13th Forum on Scientific Atheism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the 2025 Annual Academic Conference of the Chinese Atheism Society
The scientific spirit is the soul of scientific culture; it is capable of providing a powerful spiritual impetus for Chinese-path modernization by breaking through ideological shackles [1]. As an essential component of Marxism, Marxist atheism is established upon the foundations of modern science. At the beginning of 2025, artificial intelligence, represented by DeepSeek and others, burst into people's lives, setting off a surge in AI applications. Today, amidst the rapid development of science and technology and the interweaving of diverse cultures, we seek to deeply explore the relationship between Marxist atheism and the scientific spirit, strengthen the propagation of Marxist atheism, empower the advancement of Chinese-path modernization, and ultimately realize the modernization goal of "coordinating material and spiritual civilizations" [2]. To this end, the 13th Scientific Atheism Forum and the 2025 Annual Academic Conference of the China Association for Atheism—jointly organized by the Institute of Marxism Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), the China Association for Atheism, the CASS Research Center for Science and Atheism, and Taiyuan University of Technology—is scheduled to be held from August 15–17 in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province.
