Call for Papers: The 11th Forum on the Theory and Practice of Ruling Party Building

In order to promote the comprehensive and in-depth study by the academic and theoretical communities of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on the construction of work styles [1], and to explore practical paths for deepening the construction of work styles, the 11th Forum on Governing Party Building Theory and Practice is scheduled to be held.

I. Forum Theme The theme of this forum is: Research on the Spirit of the Central Eight-Point Regulations and the Party's Work Style Construction. Centered on this theme, the forum will focus on exploring and researching the following issues: (1) Research on General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thought on Party building and General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thought on the Party’s self-revolution. (2) Research on General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on the construction of the Party’s work style. (3) Research on the history, experience, and enlightenment of the Communist Party of China's work style construction. (4) Practical research on implementing the spirit of the Central Eight-Point Regulations in the New Era. (5) Research on the integrated investigation and rectification of the "Four Winds" and corruption [2]. (6) Research on perfecting institutional mechanisms for preventing and controlling formalism and bureaucratism. (7) Research on other related issues.

II. V. Call for Papers and Submission Requirements This forum adopts a "participation via paper submission" policy; authors may determine their own titles around the general theme. Papers should maintain correct perspectives and highlight ideological, academic, and practical qualities (non-academic works such as essays or poetry will not be accepted). Length should be approximately 10,000 characters. Please refer to the submission format of Marxist Studies (Mǎkèsīzhǔyì Yánjiū) for the paper style. Please attach specific contact information at the end of the text, including the author's name, employer, position/title, telephone number, email, and mailing address. Participants are requested to send their papers to the following email address by May 25, 2025: djcass@sina.com.

VI. Related Costs No fees will be charged for this seminar. The organizers will cover the catering expenses of participants during the conference, while accommodation and round-trip transportation expenses are to be borne by the participants themselves.
