Call for Papers: Academic Symposium on "Marxist Theory Communication and Front Construction in the Era of Omnimedia"
To deeply study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on strengthening the nation through cyber-power [1] and his important expositions on media convergence, ideological work, and philosophy and social science work; to further consolidate the guiding position of Marxism in the ideological field; to elevate the levels of modernization, democratization [2], and internationalization in the dissemination of Marxist theory; to earnestly strengthen the construction of theoretical dissemination fronts and content innovation; to enhance the reach, guidance, influence, and credibility of Marxist theory; and to promote the innovation and development of Marxist theoretical dissemination against the backdrop of digitalization and intelligence, the Institute of Marxism Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) intends to hold the academic symposium "Marxist Theoretical Dissemination and Front Construction in the Omnimedia Era" in Beijing on June 27, 2026. Submissions are now openly invited from theoretical workers, researchers, and members of the media.
I. Symposium Theme Innovation in Marxist Theoretical Dissemination from the Perspective of Strengthening the Nation through Cyber-power.
II. Conference Schedule June 26–28, 2026. Specifically, registration is on June 26 (Friday), the conference session is on June 27 (Saturday), and departure is on June 28 (Sunday).
III. Conference Location Beijing · Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
IV. Discussion Topics
- Discursive evolution and strategic adjustment of Marxist theoretical dissemination in the omnimedia era.
- Construction of key theoretical websites and new media fronts.
- AI technology empowerment and the intelligent construction of theoretical dissemination.
- International dissemination of Marxist theory and the guidance of youth audiences.
V. Manuscript Requirements
- Works must truly be the author’s own original academic achievements that have not been previously published.
- Articles must maintain a correct political orientation, possess a clear theme, logical clarity, and definite viewpoints, and reflect academic rigor and innovation. They should possess a certain theoretical depth while being easy to understand, utilizing "internet language" [3] and being conducive to dissemination, while complying with academic norms.
- Article length is generally 3,000–4,000 words.
- Attached files must include a CNKI [4] plagiarism check report showing a similarity rate no higher than 10%, and an AI-generated content check report showing a rate of 0%.
- Submissions must specify the author's name, unit, professional title, postal code, correspondence address, phone number, and other contact information. Where possible, a personal academic curriculum vitae may be attached.
- The electronic version of the submitted paper should be sent to the contact person’s email address in Word document format (Name + Unit + Article Title).
- Submission deadline: June 1, 2026.
VI. Other Matters
- This forum does not charge a conference fee. Expenses for transportation, accommodation, etc., during the conference are to be borne by the participants themselves.
