Biography of Comrade Jiang Liu

Jiang Liu, male, of Han ethnicity, was born in July 1922 in Qixia, Shandong Province. He joined the revolution in 1938 and became a member of the Communist Party of China in 1943. He graduated from the Central Marxism-Leninism Institute ^[1] in July 1954 with a university degree. He previously served as the Propaganda Commissioner of the Jiaodong District Experimental Committee of the CPC; Secretary of the Weifang Municipal Committee of the Youth League; and Director of the Student Department of the Shandong Provincial Committee. Within the Central Party School, he served as Deputy Director of the Teaching and Research Office for the Foundations of Marxism-Leninism, Director of the Teaching and Research Office for Scientific Socialism, Director of the Institute of Marxism, Professor, and Provost of the Central Party School. He currently serves as a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), and concurrently holds positions as a member of the Advisory Committee of the Central Marxist Theory Research and Construction Project and Honorary President of the China Association of Scientific Socialism. In 2006, he was elected as a Member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences ^[2]. His academic specialization is scientific socialism.
