Research on the Healthy Development of New Social Organizations in the New Era
Content Abstract
This book is guided by the principles of "summarizing experience, elevating theory, promoting publicity, analyzing problems, and proposing countermeasures." It takes the developmental status of new-type social organizations in Linyi City, Shandong Province, as its primary object of study. First, it clarifies basic theoretical issues regarding new-type social organizations, such as the connotation and attributes of the new social stratum [1], its specific importance, and its ideological characteristics. The book provides an overview of the basic situation of such organizations in Linyi by examining two aspects: the fundamental composition of Linyi’s new-type social organizations and the group characteristics of the personnel within them. Drawing on a vast amount of survey data and related materials, the work elaborates on Linyi’s explorations and practices regarding United Front [2] work within new-type social organizations, their participation in social governance and service to economic and social development, and the ideological guidance [3] provided to them. It summarizes the experiences gained in promoting the healthy development of new-type social organizations, analyzes and investigates existing deficiencies and their causes, and, on this basis, proposes countermeasures and suggestions for strengthening and improving the work required to facilitate their healthy development.
