↩ [1] 宗教热 (zōngjiào rè): "Religious Fever" refers to the rapid resurgence of religious interest and practice in China following the Reform and Opening-up period (post-1978). In Chinese political discourse, it is often analyzed as a phenomenon competing with secular Marxist ideology for the "ideological battlefield."

↩ [2] 释奠礼 (shìdiàn lǐ): A traditional sacrificial rite or "laying out of offerings" performed to honor Confucius and other sages. Historically, it was a state-sanctioned ritual that solidified the status of Confucianism as a socio-political orthodoxy.
