Topic Selection Guide

Science and Atheism adheres to the guidance of Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. It upholds the editorial mission of "propagating the scientific spirit, conducting education in atheism, safeguarding citizens' freedom of religious belief, and promoting the implementation of the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education." This journal primarily serves the needs of discipline-building for scientific atheism and the work of propaganda and education regarding Marxist atheism. It features columns such as "Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era," "Marxist Atheism," "Marxist Religious Studies," "Ideological and Political Education," "The Scientific Spirit," "Chinese and Foreign Atheism," "Religious Governance," and "Research on Cults," publishing relevant achievements in the aforementioned research fields. Based on the journal’s column structure, we hereby release the priority topics for 2024. We welcome scholars to actively submit manuscripts conducting research around the following topics, which include but are not limited to:
