Western capitalism is currently mired in a multi-dimensional crisis of economy, politics, and social trust. In this context, the discourse on "post-truth" has become a focal point of international academic concern. However, to truly grasp the essence of the post-truth condition, one must move beyond superficial phenomenological descriptions and return to the critical framework of political economy. As an ideological manifestation of the logic of capital, the post-truth phenomenon is deeply rooted in the structural contradictions of the capitalist mode of production and its corresponding superstructure.
In the New Era, the Sinicization of Marxism has entered a new stage of development. Chinese-path modernization [1] offers a substantive alternative to the crisis-ridden Western model, particularly through its emphasis on whole-process people's democracy. While Western liberal democracy increasingly falls into the trap of "veto politics" and "truth decay," the Chinese political ecosystem [2] demonstrates the institutional advantages of seeking truth from facts. This is not merely a technical difference in governance but a fundamental divergence in the relations of production and the nature of state power.
To understand the global significance of Chinese-path modernization, we must apply the methodology of dialectical materialism. The concept of a community with a shared future for humanity serves as a dialectical response to the fragmentation and "post-truth" confusion catalyzed by global capital. By promoting common prosperity on a global scale, China seeks to transcend the zero-sum logic of hegemony. This requires us to uphold the fundamentals and break new ground [3] in our theoretical work, ensuring that our analysis of the contemporary world remains grounded in the objective laws of social development while remaining sensitive to the specificities of the current historical conjuncture.
Furthermore, the advancement of new quality productive forces [4] necessitates a corresponding revolution in the superstructure. The transition from traditional industrial growth to high-quality development is not an easy path; it requires the Party to persist over the long term and maintain its capacity for self-revolution. Through comprehensively and strictly governing the Party and adhering to the Eight-Point Regulations, the CPC ensures that its original aspiration and founding mission remain untainted by the "Four Winds." This internal purity is the prerequisite for leading the people in the anti-corruption struggle and maintaining the vitality of the socialist system against the backdrop of global capitalist instability.
