Call for Papers: The 25th Annual Academic Conference of the Chinese Association for the History of Foreign Economic Doctrines

In order to persist in and develop Marxist economics, and to conduct in-depth research and correctly draw lessons from foreign economic theories, the Chinese Society for the History of Foreign Economic Theories and Jiangsu Normal University will jointly host the symposium "Foreign Economic Theories and the Contemporary Chinese and Foreign Economies," concurrently serving as the 25th Annual Meeting of the Chinese Society for the History of Foreign Economic Theories. The conference is scheduled to be held in late October 2017 in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province.

Centering on the theme of the conference, this meeting will focus on exploring the following topics:

  1. Comparative research on contemporary foreign economic theories
  2. Volume I of Capital and the contemporary capitalist economy
  3. Research on the development and evolution of foreign economic thought
  4. Chinese economic development and economic globalization
  5. Trade protectionism and anti-globalization [1]
  6. "Trumpnomics" and the "China Solution" [2]

We are now soliciting papers on the above topics from economics colleagues across the country.
