Call for Papers: The 29th Annual Conference of the Chinese Association for the History of Foreign Economic Theories
To uphold and develop Chinese and foreign Marxist economics, and to conduct in-depth research on and correctly draw lessons from foreign economic theories, the Chinese Society for the History of Foreign Economic Theories and Shandong University will jointly host the 29th Annual Academic Conference of the Chinese Society for the History of Foreign Economic Theories. The conference is organized by the School of Business at Shandong University and is scheduled to be held from August 6 to 9, 2021, in Weihai.
This conference will focus on the following topics:
- Research on the development and evolution of foreign economic thought.
- Comparative research on Marxist economics and Western economics.
- Research on frontier theories of contemporary Western economic doctrines.
- Research on the overseas dissemination of Xi Jinping Economic Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.
- Research on the reconstruction of global value chains in the post-pandemic era [1].
- Research on global economic governance in the post-pandemic era.
- Research on the China-Japan-ROK Free Trade Area under the frameworks of RCEP and CPTPP [2].
- Path selection and international comparison of agricultural and rural modernization.
We are now soliciting papers on the above topics from colleagues nationwide. Papers are required to take Marxist economics as their guide, demonstrate academic innovation, and follow standard writing norms. Following a peer-review process, we will issue formal invitation letters to the authors of selected papers. Selected papers will be compiled into a proceedings volume published by China Economic Publishing House. The conference will select outstanding achievements and recommend them to important journals such as Marxist Studies, Economic Perspectives, Contemporary Economic Research, Journal of Political Economy, and Hapaist Economics (Quarterly) [3].
Submissions must include an abstract of approximately 800 characters.
