Statement of the Chinese Historical Materialism Association

Regarding the recent matter circulating online involving the Commission for the Science of Talent Cultivation and Employment of the Chinese Association of Historical Materialism [1] and the "Editorial Committee for the Compilation of Achievements in Primary-level Party Building [2] and Ideological and Political Work" jointly awarding the "First Prize for Outstanding Achievements of the Chinese Association of Historical Materialism" to relevant entities, the Chinese Association of Historical Materialism hereby issues the following solemn statement:

The Commission for the Science of Talent Cultivation and Employment of the Chinese Association of Historical Materialism was abolished in 2019. Consequently, any activities carried out thereafter in the name of the Commission for the Science of Talent Cultivation and Employment of the Chinese Association of Historical Materialism, as well as all consequences arising therefrom, have no connection to the Chinese Association of Historical Materialism.
