Call for Papers: The 6th National Congress of the Chinese Atheism Society and 2023 Annual Academic Conference
To propagate the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC and to continue the implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions delivered at the 2021 National Conference on Religious Work, the Sixth National Congress of Membership Representatives of the China Association for Atheism and its 2023 Academic Annual Conference are scheduled to be held on June 10 in Beijing at the Zhongjia Xinyuan Hot Spring Hotel. This conference is hosted by the China Association for Atheism and the Institute of Marxism Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), organized by the Center for Science and Atheism at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and co-organized by the editorial department of Science and Atheism (Kexue yu wushenlun). The theme of the conference is "Atheist Propaganda and Education in Rural Areas in the New Era."
The annual conference adheres to the principle of "attendance based on submission." We warmly welcome experts and scholars from various research institutions, institutions of higher education, Party schools [1], and cadre academies [2] across the country, as well as relevant comrades from practical work departments, to actively submit papers and participate. Submitted papers should be original, unpublished works. Please provide the paper title, abstract, keywords, and a brief author biography (including affiliation, professional title, and position), along with a mailing address, contact phone number, and email address. Outstanding manuscripts, after revision, may be considered for publication in Science and Atheism.
The deadline for submissions is May 25, 2023. Please send the electronic version of the submitted paper in Word format to the association's dedicated conference email address: kxwslluntan@163.com.
During this annual conference, the election of the new Board of Directors of the China Association for Atheism will also take place. We welcome directors and members of the association to actively submit papers and participate, contributing their strength to the construction of the association and the development of the cause of atheism. The conference will provide meals and can provide accommodation for representatives from outside Beijing (standard double rooms); please cover your own round-trip travel expenses.
