Academy of Marxism Completes Discipline and Talent Adjustment Work

In order to implement the spirit of the "Guiding Symptoms of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) on Strengthening the Development of Disciplines and Talent," and in accordance with the "CASS Work Plan for the Adjustment of Disciplines (Research Offices)" and the "CASS Administrative Measures for the Appointment of Research Office Directors," the Institute of Marxism Studies has conducted an adjustment of its research divisions, research offices, and editorial departments. The institute has now completed the competitive recruitment of department heads and the allocation of specialized personnel across various disciplines.

On July 23, the Institute of Marxism Studies held a meeting for cadres ^[1] at or above the mid-level to announce the appointment results for the heads of the research divisions, research offices, and editorial departments, and to issue letters of appointment. Fan Jianxin, Secretary of the Party Committee, presided over the meeting. Vice President Xin Xiangyang announced the appointment decisions, and Jia Chaoning, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, participated along with more than 30 mid-level and senior cadres. During the meeting, members of the leadership team of the Institute of Marxism Studies presented letters of appointment to the newly appointed heads of the research divisions, research offices, and editorial departments. They expressed their hope that these leaders would enhance their political awareness and raise their political standing ^[2], earnestly shoulder their responsibilities, lead by example, and guide the comrades of their respective departments to work in unity to fulfill all tasks and missions.
