Introduction to the Yellow Book on World Socialism (2021-2022)
This book is the 18th volume in the series titled Yellow Book on World Socialism: Annual Report on World Socialism—Listening to the Rising Tide from the Low Trough [3], organized by the World Socialism Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
During the historical convergence marked by the Chinese Communist Party's centenary, the completion of the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects, and the successful realization of the First Centenary Goal [4], the World Socialism Research Center focused on several key areas: "Comprehensive study and profound understanding of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era," "Complete and accurate evaluation of the CPC’s centennial history and the establishment of a correct view of Party history," and "New development trends of foreign communist parties and the Left." The Center conducted multi-perspective, deep-level, and all-encompassing research and discussion, resulting in many authoritative, cutting-edge, and representative research outcomes that have advanced both the theory and practice of world socialism.
