Strengthening the Holistic, Systematic, and Theoretical Research of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era
Shi Taifeng, President and Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), conducted a research visit to the Academy’s Library of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the Research Center for Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and the National Philosophy and Social Sciences Documentation Center on May 11. He emphasized that the primary political task is to continuously strengthen the holistic, systematic, and scholarly research and interpretation of this important thought through study, research, propaganda, and exposition. Gao Xiang, Vice President and Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group, accompanied the visit.
During the research visit, Shi Taifeng first arrived at the Library of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. He listened to an introduction regarding the library’s status, viewed a demonstration of the database operations, and gave full affirmation to the construction achievements of the library and its database. Efforts should be made to build the National Philosophy and Social Sciences Documentation Center into a "domestically top-tier and internationally first-class" information platform for philosophy and social science research, contributing to expanding the dissemination and influence of Chinese scholarship and promoting the global reach of academic achievements.
