Good News! The Chinese Academy of History of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Awarded the Title of 7th National Civilized Unit
On May 23, the National Spiritual Civilization Construction Commendation Conference was held in Beijing. During the meeting, important instructions on the work of spiritual civilization construction issued by Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, State President, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, were transmitted. Cai Qi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, attended the conference and delivered a speech. The conference announced the commendation decisions and presented awards to the representatives of the honored units.

In recent years, the Chinese Academy of History has adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. It has gained a profound understanding of the decisive significance of the "Two Establishments," strengthened the "Four Consciousnesses" [2], remained firm in the "Four Confidences" [3], and achieved the "Two Upholds."
Furthermore, the Academy has vigorously cultivated and practiced the Core Socialist Values. It has united and condensed the nation's historiographical forces to actively build an important position for the research, interpretation, and propagation of Xi Jinping Thought on Culture; a national comprehensive research center for the development of historiography in the New Era; a public education platform for excellent traditional Chinese culture; and a vanguard for contemporary Chinese scholarship going global. Through high-quality research, it serves the construction of spiritual civilization and actively contributes historiographical strength to the building of a strong country and the rejuvenation of the nation.
The Chinese Academy of History will cherish this honor and redouble its efforts to serve as a vanguard and a benchmark.
